How should I set up my home network?

I have Hughes net proplus and want to use Ethernet cables I have 3 pcs and an xbox 360 I want to put on live. I am using the hn7000s modem. I'm not sure where to start I know live won't take Hughes but I saw a you tube video where it worked. Search dial up on xbox 360!
