Book help!! Please help?!?

Have you tried The Vampire Diaries? Another great set of books and there are plenty are by Lilian Jackson Braun. She writes about a man named Quilleran that is a reporter and moved to a small town and was adopted by Koko and Yum Yum two Siamese. Koko helps to solve murders that go down in the town. I know it sounds corny, but I'm 34 and love them, as well as my mother. They are for grown-up not little kid books. Try one, you might like them.
