How do you get dog hair off uggs?

I have chestnut uggs and I ruined them a while back by using a lint roller to get my dogs hair off them. I recently bought brown one which will show the hair more and was wondering how to prevent or remove dog hair from them. Thank you, also please only answer if you have uggs or suede boots so I don't ruin these too. Xoxo
