for starters, stay away from dell, guaranteed they will find a way to rip you off. i recently just rebuilt my pc, i spent $550 for parts, i have a amd athlon II x4, 4 gigs of ram, new motherboard, 750 watt power supply, ati radeon 5670 video card, and a 500 gig hard drive. i just used my old dvd burner, and case, nothing wrong with them. it is buy far the cheapest way to go. since you cant do it your self. find a collage kid the knows a lil about computers, you buy the parts on a site like tigerdirect, and have the parts sent to you, pay him some cash to put it together for you. then all you need to is install windows, and your good as gold
